We have studios, one bedrooms and two bedroom apartments with kitchen/kitchenette, open living spaces and plenty of storage. We have created a comfortable and home like neighborhood with everything you need just down the hall!

Additional Assistance
Edencrest at The Legacy Retirement Community is certified by the State of Iowa. The staff at Edencrest are here to assist our residents with Activities of Daily Living. Some residents may find they do not require any assistance, others may want medication management, assistance with dressing, bathing, hygiene or ambulation. Our unique program allows us to bill for ONLY the services the resident needs. Prior to move in our Health Care Coordinator, RN will complete an assessment with each resident to identify what services are needed. This will allow us to create an Individualized Service Plan.

Independent Living

These residents are seeking an independent lifestyle with the available assistance they need. Whether this assistance includes housekeeping or having occasional meals prepared for them, Edencrest Independent Living provides all these services, as well as wonderful companionship, safety and peace of mind. Edencrest Independent Living provides residents the opportunity to age-in-place and add services as they need, without having to leave the familiarity of their personalized apartment. Edencrest Independent Living is the first step of the journey to an enriching and engaging retirement.

Closer Care
Edencrest at The Legacy is ahead of the curve when it comes to accommodating families where they’re at. We understand that memory loss impacts each person differently. That’s why we offer another option. Our Closer Care program is a step between Assisted Living and Memory Care. Your loved one will receive the assistance they need without unnecessary intervention. You can also be assured that their security and well-being are being tended to at the highest level for their diagnosis. Closer Care provides the perfect balance of autonomy and structure.

Memory Care

For residents needing designated Memory Care for dementia related diagnoses, we offer a place to call “home.” The environment at Edencrest at The Legacy is reassuring, soothing and non-threatening. Edencrest at The Legacy is staffed by highly trained professionals who understand the needs of each resident are as unique as the individual.
